IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paula Lynne
Lowe
August 30, 1982 – February 1, 2026
Paula Lynne Lowe passed away on Sunday February 1st, 2026 at her home outside St. Clairsville, Ohio.
Paula was born August 30, 1982 in Corry, Pennsylvania, where she grew up. In her youth, Paula enjoyed helping on the family farm and exploring the outdoors. She, her sister, and the other young women of the Plank Road Young Ladies' Club, enjoyed getting into lighthearted mischief and spending time with one another. During high school, Paula was a letter winner in cheerleading and was a member of the Corry High School band. She graduated from Corry High School in 2000 and then attended The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in 2004. At Ohio State, Paula was a member of Tau Beta Sigma Honorary Band Sorority and The Ohio State University Marching Band during the Buckeyes' National Championship season in 2002 and for several years after, serving as a squad leader her final year.
Paula worked at The Ohio State University as an administrative assistant upon graduating and remained with the university until 2007. That year, she married Eric James Lowe, and later set aside working outside the home to begin what was her most treasured occupation, motherhood. Paula and Eric's daughter Adrienne Ann was born soon after with her sister Morgan Marie following a few years later. After the children began school, Paula renewed her interest in working outside the home, this time in education as a substitute teacher at the Coshocton City Schools. This pursuit led her to eventually become the full time librarian at the Coshocton Elementary School until 2020, when she and her family relocated to St. Clairsville, Ohio. After arriving in St. Clairsville, Paula again contributed to the development of young people, which she loved, by substituting as an aid, teacher and administrative assistant at the St. Clairsville-Richland City Schools.
Paula had a keen intellect, a kind heart, and a childlike spirit. When she set her mind and body to a task she wished to conquer, she was unstoppable. She was a voracious reader, reading dozens of books every year, and she enjoyed cooking and baking. Paula recently took up crochet and enjoyed learning it as a new hobby. Most of all, she loved her family, especially her two daughters, of whom she could not have been any prouder.
Paula was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents and her maternal grandfather. She is survived by her husband Eric Lowe, daughters Adrienne and Morgan Lowe, father Jeff Miller, mother Jaye LaVonne Miller, sister Sarah (Brian) Buckreis, brother Arthur (Helen) Miller, maternal grandmother Mary Burrows, her special uncle Howard Miller, and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends, who will miss her deeply.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, February 9, 2026 from 10 am until time of funeral services at noon at Thoburn United Methodist Church 209 East Main Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio with Rev. Jeffrey Croft officiating. Burial will take place at Westlawn Cemetery, Columbus, PA at the convenience of the family.
