Paul J. "Butch" Baker, 70, of Barnesville, Ohio died Monday, June 13, 2016 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.
He was born July 7, 1945 in Fairpoint, Ohio, son of the late, Wayne O. Baker and Mary Marie Pickana Baker.
Paul was a retired coal miner. He was a 1963 graduate of St. Clairsville High School and later enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during the Vietnam War. He loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman and hunter.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Keith A. Baker Sr.; his twin sister, Pauline J. Felix. and sister, Rose M. Holland
Surviving are his daughter-in-law, Misty Wines Baker of Jacobsburg; three grandchildren, Brandi Baker, Keith A. Baker, Jr., and Jacob Baker; three sisters, Betty Pokerino of Freeport, Patricia (Maurice) Pike of Florida and Geraldine (Elsworth) McCracken of Mississippi; three brothers, Wayne Baker Jr. of Barnesville, James (Pat) Baker of St. Clairsville and Chet (Charlene) Baker of Belmont; many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 1 p.m. until time of services at 3 p.m. with James Barbina officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
