Patricia Ann Parnell, 90, of St. Clairsville, OH passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023 at Belmont Manor Nursing Home, St. Clairsville.  She was born August 26, 1932 in Wheeling, WV., a daughter of the late Jacob and Bridget McAndrews Barthalomew.

Patricia was a loving homemaker and a charter member of Christ the King Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday School and worked as a secretary for many years.  She was a former employee and volunteer at Park Health Center.  Patricia was a member of her community in many ways and will be remembered fondly for her many roles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 68 years, James P. Parnell in 2021; a brother, Donald; a sister, Dorothy.

Surviving are her children, Virginia Ann Parnell of Pittsburgh, PA and Paul J. (Helen) Parnell of St. Clairsville; five grandchildren, Jenna Koval, Lindsey Van Horn, Erin Kramer, Michael Rosen and Amber Brunck; nine great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, March 27 from 10 am until time of funeral services at 11 am at Christ the King Lutheran Church, St. Clairsville with Rev. Nancy De Stefano officiating.  Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
