Patricia "Pat" Day McPherson, 76 of Cash Ridge Rd., Shadyside, Ohio finally won her 12 year battle with ovarian cancer on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at her home while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born November 8, 1938 in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Harold Meek Day and Juanita Kathryn Jones Day.

Pat was a former employee of Shadyside Schools, Caldwell Dentistry, and the Belmont County Election Board. She was a member of Old Wegee United Methodist Church, Shadyside Chapter No. 581 O.E.S., and the Belmont and Shadyside Garden Clubs.

Pat was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who enjoyed nature and walking.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Don "Poopy" McPherson; three children, Shari (Chuck) Taylor of Bellaire, Denise (Dave) Neavin of Shadyside, and Jon (Brandy) McPherson of Shadyside; a sister, Carolyn Lee Day of Seattle, Washington; nine grandchildren, Ashley (Corey) Martin, Chelsey Taylor, Jaymes (Jessi) Taylor, David Neavin, Sarah Neavin, Hunter McPherson, Mandy McPherson, Hunter Minney, and Chevy Minney; a great grandson, Jayce Taylor.

Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Tuesday from 1 to 3 & 6 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held in the Old Wegee United Methodist Church, Cash Ridge Rd., Shadyside, Ohio at 1 p.m. on Wednesday with Pastor Larry Helms officiating.
