Patricia Ann “Patty” Barath, 65, of Barton, Ohio, died unexpectedly on October 6, 2026, in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born on October 10, 1960, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late William Michael “Pickle” Barath Sr. and Theodora “Teddy” Minnozzi Barath.

Patty was a 1979 graduate of Bridgeport High School. She worked many jobs over her working career, and was currently a bartender with the Maynard Sportsmans Club where she was also a member, and was a member of the Barton Volunteer Fire Dept.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, J.J. Barath and a granddaughter, Anna Marie Barath.

Patricia is survived by her companion, Randall Kevin “Randy” Wallace; her daughter, Kaitlin Barath (Cory James) Phillips; a sister, Bev (Mark) Chillog; two brothers, William (Delvon) Barath Jr. and Dean (Carrie) Barath; three grandchildren, Ashton Michael Bethel, Cole Franklin Phillips and Xander James Phillips; and many friends.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Fire Department Service at 7:30 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Saturday at 11a.m., with Father Thomas Chillog officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with the arrangements or to the Barton VFD.
