Pamela Michelle Dudek, 59, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, November 4, 2015 in Columbus.
She was born in Wheeling, WV on June 13, 1956, a daughter of the late Stanley Michael Dudek and Alicia Florence Kowalski Dudek.
Pam was a retired teacher having taught all grade levels in Ohio public schools and at Bishop Donahue totaling over 25 years. She graduated from St. Clairsville High School in 1974 and from West Liberty State College in 1978 with her Bachelor's Degree and then from Ohio State University with her Master's Degree in 1980. Her interests also led her to graduate from the John Robert Powers School of Modeling, Finishing and Design. She was owner and operator of Ohio Valley Resume and Typing Service. Some of her proudest moments were being named Outstanding Majorette of the Year while at WLSC and being named Miss St. Clairsville during the Miss Ohio USA Pageant in 1980. Pam participated with the Belmont County Agricultural Society by displaying her photography in the Belmont County Fair for which she won many awards. She enjoyed Horseback riding, baseball and softball and she was known for her elegant sense of style and fashion.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Surviving are her fiancée, Vernon E. Hynes Jr.; two sisters, Kimberly Dudek and Lori Anne Dudek all of St.Clairsville; two brothers, Joseph A. (Brandi) Dudek and Wally G. (Sandy) Zielinski both of St. Clairsville; four nieces and nephews, Monte Zielinski, Christopher Walisiak, Taelor Jan Dudek and Boe Stanley Dudek and two great nieces, Brittani and Zoie Zielinski; and a godson, Remington R. Markos.
Private visitation will be held for family and friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville with a Vigil Service at 6 p.m.
Private Funeral Liturgy with Mass for family and friends will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clairsville, with Father Thomas Chillog the celebrant. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
