HARLAN, Opal Gay "Joyce", 71 of Pipe Creek Rd., Jacobsburg, Ohio died Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Liza's Place in Wheeling, WV.
She was born February 25, 1941 in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Joseph Bommer and Opal Hedley Bommer.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip "Hunk" Harlan; a son, Billy Jo Davis; brothers, Joseph Matthew Bommer and William Bommer, Sr.; sisters, Betty Louise Schramm and Sally Shepherd.
Surviving are her son, Victor Eugene (Virginia) Davis of Dillonvale; a sister, Mary Daniels of Benwood; four grandchildren, Keith (Sheila) Davis of Dillonvale, Nicole Davis of Martins Ferry, Kory Davis of Bellaire, and Jessika Davis of Dillonvale; three great grandchildren.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Monday from 6 to 9 p.m. where services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Rev. Ray Benesh officiating.
Burial follows in Greenwood Cemetery, Bellaire.
