Norma Brooks Peel, age 85, of Canton, Ohio and Jacobsburg, Ohio died Sunday, February 20, 2005 at her home.

She was born June 20, 1919 at Jacobsburg, Ohio, daughter of the late Sherman Brooks and Gertrude Harlan Brooks.

Norma was a retired employee from Timken Roller Bearing in Canton and a Methodist by faith.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Peel; a daughter, Mary Ann Neff; two sisters, Audrey Stillion and Mildred Rushin; and two brothers, Lawrence and Walter Brooks.

Surviving are two sisters, Edna Warren of Canton, Ohio and Ethel Rushin of Barnesville, Ohio; three brothers, Dave Brooks, Bob Brooks and Raymond Brooks all of Jacobsburg, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2005 at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Armstrong Cemetery, Armstrongs Mills, Ohio.
