Obituary
Nola Virginia Pethel Shaulis, 90, of St. Clairsville, OH passed away, Saturday, September 23, 2017.
She was born August 6, 1927 in Catawba, WV, a daughter of the late Albert and Pearl Towns Pethtel.
She loved God and remained faithful to God throughout her life. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She loved to quilt and garden and camp. She liked to watch football. She was a WV fan.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 69 years of marriage, Arthur Adam Shaulis; her daughter, Carolyn Sue Bunner; son-in-law, John Bunner; granddaughter, Julie Bunner; two great granddaughters, Cara and Ciara.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sisters, Lavada Porter, Opal Summers, Wanda Reed, Irene Johnson, Oleta Pethel, Bea Hause and Jeannette Chernok; brothers, Charles "Bud" Pethtel, Lonnie Pethtel, Francis Pethtel and Donnie E. Pethtel.
Per Nola's wishes there will be no visitation or services.
She will be laid to rest at Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens in Westover, WV.
