Nick James Glavaris, 69, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died August 1, 2016 at his home.

He was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on May 11, 1947, a son of the late James and Alma Alexander Glavaris.

Nick was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel and had worked as a florist and in interior design in Columbus. He had a love for gardening and artwork.

Surviving are his spouse, John M. Brown; three children, Christina (Jon) Pease of New Port Richey, Florida, Jasmine Brown and Jericia (Jeff) Brown both of Columbus; a sister, Deb Glavaris of New Port Richey, Florida; four grandchildren, Liam Pease, Lydia Pease, Sora Brown, Ronin Brown.

Per Nick's wishes, a private service will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
