Nathan Emmett Hendershot, 32, of Columbus, Ohio died January 1, 2020 at his home.

He was born May 5, 1987 in Wheeling, West Virginia, son of Emmett Hendershot and Mary A. (Borkowski) Hendershot.

Nathan was a computer engineer with CAS Chemical Society of America.  He was a 2006 graduate of St. John's High School in Bellaire and a 2010 graduate of Ohio Northern University where he was a member of the Phi Mu Delta fraternity. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville and the Knights of Columbus.

Surviving are his parents, Mary and Emmett Hendershot of St. Clairsville; two sisters, Angela M. Hendershot of Zanesville, Ohio and Marissa N. Hendershot of Brooklyn, New York; his maternal grandmother, Helen Borkowski of Parkersburg, West Virginia; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 4 p.m.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Wednesday at 10 a.m. with Father Thomas Chillog as the celebrant.  Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Mary's Catholic Church or to St. Mary's Central School in St. Clairsville.
