Naomi "Mona" Perkins, age 78, of Alledonia, Ohio, died Friday, November 12, 2004 at Monroe County Care Center, Woodsfield, Ohio. She was born in Moorehead, Kentucky, on May 26, 1926 daughter of the late Boyd and Sadie Ginter.
She was a retired waitress and former employee at the sewing factories in Barnesville and Woodsfield. Mona was a member of the Armstrongs Mills United Methodist Church and a Treasurer of the Pythian Sisters Lodge at Beallsville, Ohio.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Ginter; a sister, Vera Hertrich and two infant sisters.
Surviving are her husband, Oscar R. Perkins; a daughter, Carol Baker and her husband Ernie of Alledonia; two grandchildren, Dawnell Moore and her husband Trevor of Alledonia and Troy Baker and his wife Gina of Beallsville; seven great grandchildren, Cody, Shane, Caitlyn and Wyatt Moore and Justine, Matrasa and Owen Baker; a brother, Floyd Ginter of Upper Sandusky, Ohio; four sisters, Virginia Howard of Mansfield, Ohio, Elizabeth Hensley and Dorothy Aspauch both of Bucyrus, Ohio and Alice Hussey of Salina, Ohio.
Family and Friends will be received on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio where services will be held on Monday at 1 p.m. with Pastor Michelle Lucarelli officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
There will be a dinner following the committal services at the cemetery at Armstrongs Mills United Methodist Church Hall.
