Nancy Lee Wilson, 78, of Shadyside, Ohio, died October 8, 2022, at her home.

She was born March 15, 1944, in Dilles Bottom, Ohio, daughter of the late Harry and Bernice Helms.

Nancy was a retired employee of Nickles Bakery in Martins Ferry. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be dearly missed. She was a football fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, OSU Buckeyes and the Shadyside Tigers. Nancy also loved country music.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Dennis and Harry Helms, and five sisters, Alice Helms, Linda Helms, Erma Oaks, Dorothy Krodel, and Eleanor Cross.

Nancy is survived by a daughter, Wendy (Edward II) Tomlinson; four sisters, Phyllis Porter, Wilma Helms, Helen Winzenreid and Mildred Bennett; a grandson, Kyle Tomlinson and two step-grandchildren, Dillon Tomlinson and Rebecca Tomlinson; a bonus daughter, Michele Burkahart; and former husband, John Wilson.

Family and friends will be received on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m.  Burial will follow in Powhatan Cemetery.
