Nancy Jean McCloud McConnell, 76, of Bellaire, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2026, peacefully at her home. She was born July 7, 1950, in Glencoe, Ohio, a daughter of the late James Chester and Helen May Angus McCloud.

Nancy was a retired employee of Shadyside Health Care Center where she worked in the kitchen for many years after she retired, she also visited and helped the residents for years. She enjoyed staying at home watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns. She donated to St. Jude and to the VA to support veterans. She especially loved her animals. She was a member of the Clarksburg Christian Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. McConnell Jr. in 2011; two brothers, Jim and Don McCloud; and a sister, Darlene Sams.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Angel McGarry; three grandchildren, Charlie (Heather) McGarry, Johna (Adam) Plute and Sophia Spear; sister, Shirley (Lester) Norman; and a brother, Gary (Connie) McCloud.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside service at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Bellaire on Monday October 19, 2026, beginning at 2 pm.
