Nancy Louise Ramsay Loy, 84, of Bethesda, Ohio, died at home surrounded by family on April 23, 2024.

She was born October 17, 1939, in Belmont, Ohio, a daughter of the late Wallace Boyd Ramsay and Wilda Mae Abel Ramsay.

Nancy was the business manager of James Loy Quality Homebuilders, an angus beef farmer and homemaker. She was a member of the Bethesda Church of Christ.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Hershel Loy; a sister, Catherine Jane Ramsay; and an infant brother.

Nancy is survived by her three children, Gail (Tom) Passmore, Robbin (James) Mitchell, and Bradley (Cynthia) Loy; a brother, Ray (Dana) Ramsay; six grandchildren, Zachary Passmore, Brooke Thompson, Bryce Mitchell, Mackenzie Mitchell, Smith Mitchell and Gavin Loy; eight great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, where services will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. with Brothers Mark Eikenberry and Barry Peters officiating. The burial will follow in Belmont Cemetery, Belmont, Ohio.
