Nancy Ann Gossett, 75, of Bannock, Ohio died December 3, 2014 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.
She was born in Martins Ferry, Ohio on October 28, 1939, daughter of the late John and Mabel Clark Rodgers.
Nancy was a retired rural carrier for the U. S. Post Office where she worked for 32 years. She was an active member of the Bannock United Methodist Church where she served as a Lay Speaker. She was a loving wife, Mother and grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four brothers, George, Don, John and Bob; and two sisters, Jane and Rosemary.
Surviving are her loving husband of 58 years, John J. Gossett; three children, Kathy (Bud) Cordner of Bannock, Mark Gossett of Belmont and Paul (Kim) Gossett of Bannock; seven grandchildren, Zac and Michael Cordner, Nathan, Allie and Graylan Gossett and Missy and Jay Gossett; a brother, Kenneth Rodgers of Florida; three sisters, Evelyn Hull and Karen Wheeler both of Canton and Mabel "Sunny" Woodward of Texas; several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Friday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. with Pastor David Powell officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Morristown.
