Nancy Lou McConnell Gillogly, 91, of St. Clairsville, OH, died October 8, 2023, in East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry.

She was born April 4, 1932, in Wheeling Township, Belmont County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Alexander Trueman McConnell and Mabel Doris McFarland McConnell. In addition to her parents, her husband of 69 years, Eugene "Gene" Gillogly; her brother, Alex, and sister, Patricia preceded her in death.

Nancy is survived by her sister, Margine Hanson of Chagrin Falls, OH; five nieces, Karen Allan of Black Mountain, NC, Kathleen Leinenweber, of Alpharetta, GA, Wendy Abourjeily of Burton, OH, Melanie Zannini of Angier, NC and Patty Gummere of St. Clairsville; several great nephews and great nieces.

Nancy was a member of the East Richland Evangelical Friends Church, a retired head secretary from Ohio State University Extension of Belmont County, a retired employee of J.C. Penney, honorary 4-H member, honorary Belmont County Agricultural Society (Fair Board) member, life member of the St. Clairsville Alumni Association, and PERS.

Friends and family will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, on Friday from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., with Pastor Matt Close officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery in Harrisville, OH.
