Nancy Louise Steadman Duncan, 75, of Shadyside, Ohio died on Thursday July 13, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was born on July 18, 1947, in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Elmer Lee Steadman and Helen Marie Porter Steadman.

Nancy was a loving wife and mother. She was a former Cub Scout den mother, a band mom for Beech Grove High School in Indiana, and a Christian by faith.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sons; James Sean Duncan and Jay R. Duncan; three sisters, Mary Lee Steadman, Susan Jane Marsh and Rose Eleanor Consolo.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, James "Buck" Duncan; son Joseph Duncan; and a sister Rebecca Morgan.

Family and Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 1 p.m. with Evg. Jeffrey A. Kent officiating. The Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery Bellaire, Ohio.
