Nancy Ann Dopkiss, 86, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Belmont Manor.

She was born November 23, 1936, in Maynard, Ohio, a daughter of the late Stanley Chuckery and Nellie Josefczyk Chuckery.

Nancy was a retired secretary from St. Clairsville Richland City School District. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Catholic Women's Club. Nancy and her husband, Gerald were married in 1958 and recently celebrated 65 years of marriage. For many years they both enjoyed polka dances.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Melinda Ann Dopkiss and a brother, Stanley Chuckery.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Gerald G. Dopkiss; a son, Gerald Alan (Kelly) Dopkiss; three grandchildren, Gerald (Marisa) Dopkiss II, Zachary Dopkiss, and Ryan Cox; and two great grandchildren, Caiden and Colton Dopkiss.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation at St. Mary's Catholic Church in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Friday, Sept. 15, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Liturgy with Mass at 11 a.m. with Father Thomas Chillog as the celebrant. Private inurnment will be in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
