Obituary
Nancy Lou Day, 77 of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Saturday, July 30, 2016 in Steubenville, Ohio.
She was born September 20, 1938 in Bellaire, Ohio, a daughter of the late Stewart L. Kirkland and Edna "Juanita" Workman Kirkland.
Nancy was a former employee of Buckeye Savings & Loan, and Wesbanco. She was a member and former organist at Old Wegee United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William "Easy" Day; and her very special friend, Patricia McPherson.
Surviving are her daughter, Laura (Gregory) Thomas of Steubenville; stepdaughter, Terry Day of Jacobsburg; stepson, Michael Day of Bellaire; six grandsons, Gregory William Thomas, Matthew David Thomas, Alex Gregory Thomas, Zachary Keith Thomas, Tyler Day and Taylor Day.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Larry Helms officiating.
Burial follows in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.
