Nancy C. Day Davis, 88, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, formerly of Charleston, West Virginia, died Sunday, June 2, 2024, in Select Specialty Hospital in Wheeling, West Virginia.

She was born March 25, 1936, in Charleston, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Arthur Robert Day and Mary Jo Pauline White Day.

Nancy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church in St. Clairsville; a Past Worthy Matron of the former St. Clairsville Chapter 510 Order of Eastern Star; current member of Captina Chapter # 489, O.E.S. in Powhatan Point; and member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the El Tor Groto. Nancy enjoyed watching her favorite football teams, the Green Bay Packers, WVU Mountaineers and OSU Buckeyes, and cooking, baking and crafting.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, William M. "Bill" Davis; a son, Patrick J. Davis; a sister, Tess Cunningham; and a grandson.

Nancy is survived by her three children, Vicki Jo Widmor of Bridgeport, Wayne Arthur Davis and William Robert Davis both of St. Clairsville; two sisters Jo Ann Springer of Melbourne, Florida and Deb Coffman of Georgetown, Kentucky; a brother, Robert Day of Bluefield, West Virginia; 9 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 3 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville. Private committal will be held at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.

Captina Chapter #489, O.E.S. will conduct Eastern Star Funeral Service at 6 p.m. on Friday.
