Nancy W. Varner D'Airo, 76, of Bellaire, died September 8, 2021, in Wheeling Hospital.

She was born November 13, 1944, in Martins Ferry, daughter of the late Patrick and Lois Travis Varner.

Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a retired employee from Elby's Family Restaurant.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Chester Hodgson Jr., her second husband, Leonard D'Airo; a sister, Lois Smith; and a grandson, Travis.

Nancy is survived by her two children, Melissa Hodgson, and Patrick (Dawn) Varner; a sister, Patricia Daugherty; a granddaughter, Ashley (Ryan) Padgett; two great grandsons, Alexander and Max Padgett; brother-in-law, Blaine Smith; and a nephew Chad (Heather) Smith. She was Granny Nanny to Chad & Heather's children, Dane, Leah and Reegan.

Visitation will be held at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio on Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Tom Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Warnock Cemetery.
