Nancy Lee Ruehl Burkett, 55, of St. Clairsville, died Thursday, February 11, 2016 at home.

She was born February 11, 1961 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, daughter of the late William H. Ruehl and Irene C. Lukacsko Ruehl.

Nancy was a loving wife and mother. She had a passion for horses and enjoyed working with and showing them. She was an exceptional cook and loved her flowers and gardening.

Surviving are her husband, David D. Burkett; a son, Samuel T. Burkett of St. Clairsville; a daughter, Sarah A. Burkett of Munroe Falls, Ohio; two sisters, Mary Tezyk of Fort Myers, Florida and Sue Hoff of Buffalo, West Virginia.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Sunday from 2 p.m. until time of Services at 5 p.m. with Father Thomas Chillog officiating.
