Nadine Marie Greenwood of St. Clairsville, Ohio, died on February 17, 2024. She was born October 2, 1950, the daughter of the late Joseph and Norma (Calovini) Paytash.
Nadine was a graduate of Union Local High School and the West Virginia Business College. She worked as a secretary for the Bureau of Workers' Compensation and Belmont County Department of Job and Family Services. After this, she opened Scents Unlimited Candle Shop which she ran for several years. Strengthened by her unwavering Catholic faith, Nadine lived her life with a profound love for her family, friends, pets, and gardening.
Nadine is survived by her husband of 50 years, Larry Greenwood, son Corey Greenwood, and daughter Katrina (Chuck, Jr.) Woodford; grandchildren, Tyler (Christie) Greenwood, Cameron Woodford, and Chloe Woodford; and brother, Joseph K. Paytash. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cathedral of St. Joseph, Wheeling, West Virginia with Bishop Mark Brennan as the celebrant and Fr. Daniel Heusel as the homilist. Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery, Bethesda, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Belmont County Animal Shelter, 45244 National Road, St. Clairsville, OH 43950.
