Obituary
Miriam Evelyn Mellott Burgess Hall, 79, of Glencoe, Ohio, died Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born July 10, 1936 at Glencoe, Ohio, daughter of the late Dwight and Bertha Saffell Mellott.
Miriam was an employee of the Paper Shack in Elm Grove, WV and worked there with people she considered to be her second family. She was an exceptional bow maker and loved her family taking care of everyone especially the grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin L. Hall; a sister, Erma Hall and brother, Bernard Mellott.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth C. Hall; her children, Nicholas (Reba Manning) Burgess of Corpus Christi, TX, Steven (Susan) Hall of Glencoe, Nicole (Doug) Carver of Corpus Christi, TX and Jackie (Jimmie) Manning of Powhatan Point; grandchildren, Kenny Hall, Cody Hall, Tiffani Burgess, Dylan Buckner and Chrissy Davis; great grandchildren, Laken Carver, Riley Carver and Alexis Hall.
At Miriam's request there will be no visitation and private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
