Miranda B. Campbell Christy, 104, of Titusville, Florida, formerly of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and Orlando, Florida, died Sunday, July 19, 2015.

She was born January 22, 1911, in Wheeling Township, Belmont County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Clyde H. and Mary Bell Caldwell Campbell.

Miranda was a retired elementary teacher with 45 years of service in Wheeling Township, Belmont County, Ohio, and Orange County, Florida. She was a graduate of West Liberty State College and a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Association, the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Florida Retired Teachers Association, and College Park Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter L. Christy; a sister, Mary Edith Huff; and five brothers, William A., John C., Charles H., Harold P., and Donald T. Campbell.

Surviving are her son, Walter L. (Jeanne M.) Christy, Jr., granddaughter, Julie A. Christy, and grandson, Mark A. Christy, all of Titusville, Florida.

Honoring Miranda's wishes, a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville.
