Mildred L. Sabo, 85 of Maynard, Ohio died Saturday, August 27, 2005 at Ohio Valley Medical Center, Wheeling.

She was born at Maynard on April 17, 1920 a daughter of the late Joseph and Annie Applegarth Soukup.

Mildred was a member of the Maynard United Methodist Church and the Maynard American Legion Post 666 Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Kalman Sabo on March 1, 2005; sisters Virginia Homard and Ruth Serio and a brother Edward Soukup.

She is survived by her son Bob Sabo and his wife Carole of St. Clairsville; a sister Dorothy (Jim) Bozick of Lima, Ohio; a brother Donald (Lil) Soukup of St. Clairsville and two very special grandchildren that were her pride and joy, Julie and Justin Sabo.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Hildebrand and Pastor Judith Young officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
