Mildred Rushin, age 87, of Canton, died Thursday at her home. She was born March 25, 1916 at Jacobsburg, OH, daughter of Sherman and Gertrude Harlan Brooks.
She was a retired employee from Park Poultry Foods.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.
Surviving are two sons, Charles (Minnie) Saffell of Armstrongs Mills, OH and Harry (Ida) Saffell of Verona, Kentucky; a daughter, Alice St. Clair of Canton; three brothers, Dave, Bob and Raymond Brooks all of Jacobsburg; three sisters, Norma Peel and Edna Warren both of Canton and Ethel Rushin of Boston, Massachusetts; 9 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, OH on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bob Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Armstrong Cemetery, Armstrongs Mills, Ohio.
