Mildred Alice Kimball, 92, of St. Clairsville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at her daughter's home.  She was born July 5, 1930, in Detroit, Michigan a daughter of the late William R. and Elsie Fulcomer Reed.

Mildred was a graduate of Grant Hospital School of Nursing.  She retired as a Registered Nurse after working many years at Alvis House in Columbus, Ohio.  She was a member of Thoburn United Methodist Church and the Zane's Trace Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Kimball in 1971; a brother, William Reed; three sisters, Ruth Patzer, Edna Wehrle and Thelma Parrott.

Surviving are two daughters, Ruth (James) Burkley of Lawrenceville, New Jersey and Jean (Philip) Hartman of St. Clairsville; a sister, Wilma Browning of Apex, North Carolina; a sister-in-law, Ann Reed of Reunion, Florida; nieces and nephews; and Chessie her cherished cat.

Mildred's family and friends will remember her gentleness, sense of humor, and generosity.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 10 am until time of funeral services at 12 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Rev. David St. Aubin officiating.  Graveside services will be held at 2 pm at Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray, Pennsylvania.
