Mildred J. Gibas, 96, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Belmont Manor Nursing Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio. She was born May 2, 1929, in Belmont County, Ohio, a daughter of the late Scott and Florence Simpson Ferguson.

Mildred was a loving wife, mom, GiGi and homemaker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Lewis P. Gibas; and brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her three daughters, Patty Gibas Cefaldo (Ron Wellman), Jean (Henry) Stewart and Barb (Tim) Browning; 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Daisy Thatcher.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Rev. Kevin Rinkes officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, Ohio.
