Mildred Louise Britton, 90, of Catlettsburg, KY., formerly of Jacobsburg, OH., passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at her home.  She was born July 22, 1934 in Dilles Bottom, OH., a daughter of the late Delmas and Hazel Messenger West-Williams.

Mildred was a former employee of the Bartlow's Family Market and cleaned home for many area families.  She was a Methodist by faith.  She enjoyed quilting and time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William H. Britton, Jr. in 2008; brothers, John Williams, Gerald Williams, Robert Messenger, Dick Williams and Joe Williams; a sister, Donna Palmer; her step father, Delmas Williams.

Surviving are two sons, Carl "Russ" (Rita) Britton and Rodney (Susan) Britton, both of Catlettsburg, KY; a brother, Charlie Williams of Wheeling, WV; a daughter-in-law, Denise Britton of Belmont, OH; three grandchildren, Melody Jo (Paul) Carpenter, Jesse Ray (Jessica) Britton and Josh Britton; two great grandchildren, Serina Carpenter and Avery Britton.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 10 am until time of funeral services at 1 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, Jacobsburg, OH with Chaplain Kris Bright officiating.  Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, OH.
