Michael "Mike" Everett Tomolonis Sr., 94, of Bridgeport, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Liza's Place of Valley Hospice, Wheeling, West Virginia. He was born July 28, 1931, in Round Bottom, Ohio, a son of the late John Paul Tomolonis and Michaline "Minnie" Delphine Bartas Tomolonis.

Mike was a self-employed contractor and the owner of Mike Tomolonis Construction. He was a 1947 graduate of Saint Elizabeth's School in Cleveland, Ohio. He was Catholic by faith. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He was very talented at wood working and making whirligigs. He was a United States Army Veteran. But above all, Mike was a family man and left his mark on the area with all of the houses he built in St. Clairsville and surrounding areas for many families.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Janice Lee Jeffers Tomolonis in 2011; and seven siblings, Anna, John, Stanley, Peter, George, Alec and Joseph Tomolonis.

He is survived by his children, Darlene (Kevin) Kolanski of St. Clairsville, Ohio, Sharon (David) Whims of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and Michael Everett (Mylene) Tomolonis Jr., of Burbank, California; six grandchildren, Megan (Lou) Delgadillo, Breann Partezana, Mary Beth (David) Pipes, Emily Whims, Micah and Michael; two great-grandchildren, Liam and Elliot Pipes; many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Monday from 12 p.m. until time of funeral services at 2 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with Chaplain Kris Bright officiating. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Belmont County Veterans Association at 2 p.m. in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
