Michael Anthony "Mike" Mead, 58, of Belmont, OH passed away March 10, 2019 at his home.

He was born September 19, 1960 in Barnesville, OH, the son of the late Marman A. and Beatrice K. Jessee Mead.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a son, Joshua M. Mead; a brother, M. Anson Mead; and a brother-in-law, R. E. "Apple" Applegarth.

He is survived by two sons, Michael A. (Chantel) Mead and Todd Taylor; two brothers, M. Arthur Mead and M. Alan Mead; a sister, M. A. "Doll" Applegarth; grandchildren, Michael, Abagail and Chloe Mead and Shealyn Taylor; nieces, Susan Cunard, Melissa Mead and Amanda Fisher; and a nephew, Dylan Applegarth.

Visitation will be held at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Tuesday, March 19 ^th from 6 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. with Wayne Clark officiating.
