Michele Lynn Kemp Jerico, 54, of Glencoe, Ohio, died Tuesday January 2, 2018 in Wheeling Hospital. She was born September 19, 1963 in Barnesville, Ohio, a daughter of Melvin and Judy Elliott Kemp. She was a 1981 graduate of Union Local High School and was an avid sports fan. Michele was an employee of Wheeling Hospital and formerly employed by the Belmont and Noble Correctional Institutes and was a member of Belmont United Methodist Church. Michele is survived by her husband David Joseph Jerico; her parents, Melvin and Judy Kemp; brother, Doug (Amy) Kemp; niece, Arika (Robert) Simpson; nephew, Austin Kemp and his fiancé Ellie Frazier; father-in-law, David L. Jerico; sisters-in-law, C J (George) Garloch and Kelly Jerico; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Mark Alan Kemp; mother-in-law, Nancy A. Jerico; grandparents, Harry and Lucille Elliott and George and Lucille Kemp; several aunts and uncles. Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio where services will be held on Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with Pastors Dr. Brian Bee and Larry Helms officiating. Burial will follow in Glencoe Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Belmont United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
