Michael Joseph Trabert II "Mike", 55, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2023.  A beloved husband, father, and son, Mike was born May 29th, 1968, at Wheeling hospital.

Those left to cherish his memory include the love of his life, wife Heather Trabert, parents Mike Joseph and Diana Trabert of Wheeling, WV, children Kamrynn, Keirstin, and Kirstie, Kristopher of Charleston, WV, brothers Marty Joseph and Matt Joseph Trabert, parents-in-law, Gary Gates and Cynthia Kirkland; brother-in-Law, Steve (Gegit) Gates of Wheeling, WV, many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews. All who were deeply loved by Mike.

He was preceded in death by a brother Mark Joseph Trabert, his maternal grandparents, Joseph J. and Louise Weishar and paternal grandparents, Francis J. and Dolores L. Trabert.

Mike was not long in his journey with the Lord Jesus Christ, but definitely shined the light of him to others. He was a hardworking coal miner for 13 years at CONSOL Energy, worked tirelessly to provide a wonderful life for his family.

Mike loved sports always rooting for the Steelers, Penguins, Pirates, and Notre Dame. He had a passion for collecting sports memorabilia alongside his brothers. His passion ultimately led him to start a successful online business.

Mike was an amazing friend to many, with a deep sense of humor. His brother-in-law was often the brunt of the humor! His quick wittedness will never be forgotten by all that knew him.

Visitation is 11-2 & 5-8 pm Friday August 25th, and funeral services at 11am with Pastor Dean Myers officiating on Saturday the 26th at Harbor of Hope Church in St Clairsville, OH.
