Michael "Magic" Johnson, 59, of St. Clairsville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, in Forest Hill Healthcare and Rehabilitation. He was born on December 10, 1965, in Urichsville, Ohio, the son of Norman L Johnson and Nancy A Robinson Johnson.

He was a proud graduate of St. Clairsville High School in 1984 and attended Ohio University and Belmont Technical College where he studied business. Mike was employed by TK Train and Hobby in Bridgeport, Ohio. This fostered his favorite hobby of building and racing RC Cars. Mike was a founder and leader for the 4th Street R/C Raceway. He also had an unwavering love of the Las Vegas Raiders since he was a little boy. Mike's other passion was heavy metal music, especially WASP, and a devotion to the Trans Siberian Orchestra, which he saw in concert several times.

Mike is survived by his sons Skyler (Mykenzie) Johnson and Jayden Johnson of Wheeling, West Virginia; a sister Lisa Johnson of St. Clairsville, Ohio; mother of his children Cissy Johnson of Wheeling, West Virginia; stepdaughter Amanda (Michael) Schnelle of St. Clairsville, Ohio; stepson Ryan (Krista) Hogan of Delmar, Delaware; and stepdaughter Kayla Roland of Dover, Delaware; nine grandchildren: Sarah, Alexandra and Greigh of St, Clairsville, Ohio; Michael, Kinslee, and Ryker of Delmar, Delaware; Aubrey, Gage and Ketch of Dover, Delaware.

Family and friends will be received on Sunday, September 28, 2025, from 12-2 at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio.

A memorial race at the 4th Street R/C Raceway will be held in Mike's honor on November 2, 2025.
