Hess, Michael Anthony, 51 of Centerville, Ohio died Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born at Bellaire, Ohio on March 29, 1958 a son of the late Jess W. and Anna Tonkovich Hess.
Mike was a retired Belmont County Sheriff?s Deputy.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew, Michael Hess.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Fitch Hess; his children, Jamie Shaw and Derek Hess; brothers Bill Hess of Williamstown, NJ and Jim Hess of Senecaville, Ohio; grandchildren Jordan, Kameron and Josh Shaw, Elizabeth Barath and Andy Statler.
At Mike?s request there will be no visitation or services. His remains are to be cremated and scattered.
