Michael William Hess, 29, of Sicklerville, New Jersey, formerly of Jacobsburg, died Sunday, April 18, 2004. He was born January 14, 1975 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of George William Hess and Charlotte M. Moran Hess.

He was an electrician working for Calvi Electric of Atlantic City, New Jersey and a member of the IBEW Local # 351.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Richard and Ruth Moran; and paternal grandparents, Jess W. "Goat" and Ann Hess.

Surviving are his parents, George W. "Bill" and Charlotte M. Moran Hess of Mays Landing, New Jersey; a son, Michael "Scooby doo" Hess and a daughter Maryn "Lu Lu" Hess; and a brother, Jason Hess of Mays Landing, New Jersey; mother of his children, Shawnnika Brown.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg, Ohio on Thursday from 4 to 9 p.m., where services will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. with Rev. Richard Mehl officiating. Burial will follow in Jacobsburg Cemetery.

A memorial service will be held in New Jersey, at a date, time and location to be determined later by the family.
