Michael E. Gipson, 57, of Cambridge, Ohio, died Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at his home in Cambridge.

He was born June 13, 1962, in Columbus, OH, son of Lewis Edward Gipson and Helen Rea Gipson.

Mike was a loving Husband, Father, grandfather, brother, cousin, and uncle. He was a retired law enforcement officer serving the Belmont Co Sheriff's, Federal Courthouse, U.S. Marshall's Service, Byesville, Madison Twp, and others during his Career. In retirement was an Account Manager for OTP Industrial Solutions. He was an avid Hunter and Fisherman. He loved his and Carla's puppies Maggie and Sissy.

He was preceded in death by his Dad, and loving wife of 18 years, Carla Gipson.

Surviving are his Mom, Helen; 2 siblings, Robert (Julie) Gipson,  Jeffery (Marjorie Cox) Gipson;  his and Carla's 7 children, Amanda Perkins, Andrea Gipson, Sara (Travis Furbee) Gipson, Phillip Gipson, Noah Gipson, Matthew (Katrina) Rausenberg, and Mark (Tiffanie) Rausenberg; 11 grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at Flushing Alliance Church, (427 E High St, Flushing, OH) on Saturday from 2 p.m. until time of services at 4 p.m. with Pastor Nathan McKeen officiating. Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Fraternal Order of Police of Ohio.
