Michael J. "Mike" Elerick, 58, of St. Clairsville, OH passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Wheeling Hospital.  He was born February 28, 1964, in Wheeling, WV., a son of the late Gerald J. Elerick and Patricia Ann Gonot Jakubic.

Mike was a former employee of Rose Pest Control, former owner of Sun Video in St. Clairsville and a Christian by faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark "Spud" Elerick; his stepfather, Andrew Jakubic.

Surviving are his children, Alexander Elerick and Juliana Elerick both of Colerain, OH; a sister, Rose (Paul) Selmon of Montgomery, AL; a brother, Richard "Rick" (Vicki) Elerick of Adena, OH.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4 pm until 8 pm at Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville with a Panachida Service at 7 pm with the Very Reverend Michael Kabel officiating and a service at 8 pm with Pastor Paul Elerick officiating.  Final arrangements at the convenience of the family.

One of Mike's last acts of kindness was being an organ donor for CORE, the Center for Organ Recovery & Education.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
