Mozena, Merle Catherine "Granny" Henthorn, 90 of St. Clairsville, Ohio died Monday, March 15, 2010 at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born in Wheeling on April 21, 1919 a daughter of the late Deming Owen and Olive Jane Mozena Henthorn.

Merle was a retired secretary for Gerrero Music Store in Wheeling, a member of the Oak Grove United Methodist Church at Piedmont. She was a former member and Past President of the Junior Women?s Club, Vice President of the Civic League and Past President of Philathea all of Warwood, WV.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Francis "Moe" Mozena; daughter, Carol Sue Sweeny; sisters, Mary O?Hare and Delilah Costa and brother Richard Henthorn.

She is survived by a daughter, Donna (Jim) Lallone and a son Mike (Becky) Mozena all of St. Clairsville; a sister, Edith Lewis of Shadyside; 6 grandchildren, Todd Sweeny, Chris (Gina) Bryan, Marty (Monica) Sweeny, Cody (Allison Conklin) Mozena, Ashley and David Lallone; 8 great grandchildren, Brandon, Brittany, Brooke, Tori, Adrianne, and Jayden Bryan, Coren and Cooper Sweeny; great great granddaughter, Zoey Elizabeth Bryan; 13 nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Toothman Funeral Home, St. Clairsville, Ohio on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. where services will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jerry Wenger officiating. Burial will follow in Harter Cemetery, Hannibal, Ohio.
