Matthew Allan "Matt" Tomich, 69 of Jacobsburg, Ohio died Saturday, July 25, 2015 at his home.
He was born June 30, 1946 in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of the late George and Helen Kulazenka Tomich.
Matt was a retired Ironworker and retired employee of Belco Crafts, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War, and a member of Glencoe American Legion Post # 632.
Matt is survived by his wife, Rebecca Berry Tomich; four daughters, Julianne Tomich and her husband, Nick Poolos of Homer, Alaska, Megan Tomich and her husband, Peter Larkowski of Midland, Michigan, Rachael Tomich of Jacobsburg, and Katherine Khamsoucksaly of Shadyside; 8 greatly loved grandchildren, Veda Jo, Leyla, Josephine, Brycen, Isabella, Elijah, Emilia, and Xelia; a brother, George Tomich of Columbus, OH; sisters, Helen Anne Bundorf and Barbara Feher both of Shadyside; many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in Jacobsburg on Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
Belmont County Council of American Legions will provide full military honors at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shadyside United Methodist Church Free Lunch Program.
