Matthew Adam Montgomery of Jacobsburg, Ohio, died April 23, 2023, in Reynolds Memorial Hospital, Glen Dale, West Virginia.

He was born June 14, 1983, in Bellaire, Ohio, a son of Mark E. Montgomery and Tina M. Graham Montgomery Gallaher.

Matt was a welder operator with Arrowstrip, a division of Mull Industries and was a member of Old Wegee United Methodist Church . H e was a devoted and amazing father, a job and privilege that he so dearly loved, h e was also kindhearted and loved to help others. Matt enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycles, four wheelers, John Deer tractors, and he was a great mechanic.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Lee E. Montgomery and Nancy "Tessie" Montgomery; maternal grandparents, Harry A. "Chub" Graham and Martha J. "Marty" Graham; and his aunt, Cheryl J. Graham.

Matt is survived by his parents, Mark E.(Nancy) Montgomery; Rev. Tina M. (Harry) Gallaher; children, Adam A. Montgomery (Hannah), Carlin M. Montgomery, and Austin K. Tucker; his sister, Amanda S. Montgomery (Vern); the mother of his children, Jentry; stepbrothers and stepsisters, Hillary, Kelly, Barb, Derek, Rana, and Randy; nephew, Christopher; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, Ohio, on Friday from 2 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. with Rev. Tina Gallaher officiating.
