Mary Elinor Waser, 86, of St. Clairsville, died Monday, January 8, 2007 at Wheeling Hospital. She was born October 18, 1920 in St. Clairsville, daughter of the late Preston and Mary Ferrell Ault.

Mary Elinor was a retired administrator from the Belmont-Harrison-Monroe Board of Mental Health. She was a former member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in St. Clairsville and a current member of East Richland Evangelical Friends Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin B. Waser; a daughter, Susan Morgan; a brother, James Ault; two sisters, Grace Hawthorne and Jeanette Willerton.

Surviving are her two sons, Roger A. Waser of Westerville, Ohio and Edwin B. Waser of Dublin, Ohio; a son-in-law, Ronald Morgan of St. Clairsville; two grandchildren, Ronald Morgan Jr. and his wife Carol of St. Clairsville and Jody Helton and her husband Greg of Gahanna, Ohio; three great grandchildren; Andrew, Lauren and Jared Morgan.

Family and friends will be received on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jerry Wenger Officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens in Pleasant Grove.
