Mary M. Thrash's Obituary
Mary M. Thrash, 55, of Flushing, Ohio, died Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at Wheeling Hospital.
She was born on June 28, 1959 in Wheeling, West Virginia, daughter of the late Charles H. Pelkey and Mary Chuslo Pelkey.
Mary was a retired regional manager from Motels of America. She was a member of the Uniontown Presbyterian Church; a member of the Flushing American Legion Auxiliary Post 366. She loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Mary also enjoyed her roses, gardening, canning.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Dennis Pelkey.
Surviving are her husband, Roger C. Thrash; two stepchildren, Roger T. Thrash of Lorain, Ohio and Shannon Boesel of Amherst, Ohio; two grandchildren, Taylor M. Thrash and Zachary W. Boesel; two brothers, Charles W. Pelkey and Wallace (Jeannie) Pelkey; a sister, Tammy (Rodger) Fisher; nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Saturday from 5 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. Robert Merritt officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery, Flushing, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
