Mary Alice Taylor, 93, formerly of Cash Ridge Rd., Shadyside died Thursday, December 30, 2004 at the Shadyside Care Center.

She was born on September 30, 1911 in Lafferty, Ohio, a daughter of the late Robert Graham and Florence Sindeldecker Graham.

She was a Methodist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William David Taylor; two children, Clara Mae & Hovey Emerson Taylor; a grandson, Eric Slack; six brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are six children, Eileen (Carl) Slack and James (Shirley) Taylor both of Bellaire, William D. Taylor, Jr. of Neffs, Virginia Lee (Frank) Horn of Shadyside, Naomi Schrum (Howard Smith) of St. Clairsville, and Kathryn (Dan) Graham of Parkersburg; 29 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

There will be no visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor Pe te Walburn officiating. Burial follows in Jacobsburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Shadyside Care Center?s Activities Fund.
