SAYRE, Mary Davenport Blinco Smigle, 89, of Farmington, Ohio died Sunday, June 9, 2013 at her home.

She was born on December 2, 1923 in Farmington, daughter of the late Grover C. and Mamie W. Crooke Davenport.

Mary was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse from East Ohio Regional Hospital in Martins Ferry. She was a member of the Barton United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Perman E. Sayre, Charles Blinco, and Joseph Smigle Sr.; a son, Gerald Smigle; a brother, William Stewart Davenport; and two sisters, Anna Coconis and Juanita Hendershot.

Surviving are her son, Joseph (Darlynn) Smigle, Jr. of Farmington, Ohio; six grandchildren; many great grandchildren; several step children; several step grandchildren; and several step great grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m., with Rev. Rusty Johnston officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
