Mary Kay Cullen Shrieve, 71, of Maynard, Ohio died Friday, May 19, 2017 in East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio. She was born April 4, 1946 in Martins Ferry, Ohio, daughter of the late Walter John Cullen and Frances Milavec Cullen. Mary Kay was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who never met a stranger. She was always willing to help anyone in need and was a friend to all. She was a graduate of St. Clairsville High School in 1964. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter Jennifer; a brother, Thomas J. Cullen and a niece, Kimberly Cullen Saffell. Surviving are her husband of 45 years, Dick Shrieve; two sons, Christopher Richard (Carol Lynn) Shrieve of Munhall, Pennsylvania and Corey (Lisa) Shrieve of Pickerington, Ohio; three grandchildren, Cullen Shrieve, Ava and Maddox Shrieve; a great niece, Kelsey Cullen and a great nephew, Kurtis Cullen. Family and friends will be received at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville on Monday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., where services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Pastors Clarke A. Hogue III and Al Hoder officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville, Ohio.
