Mary R. March, age 81, of Fairpoint-Maynard Road, St. Clairsville, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, died Thursday, October 13, 2005 in Wheeling Hospital. She was born September 15, 1924 in St. Clairsville, Ohio, daughter of the late Samuel Zavacky Sr. and Anna Mularcik Zavacky.

Mary was a retired nurses aid and former employee of Higbee Department Store in Cleveland. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard and a member of the Greek Catholic Society.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Samuel Zavacky Jr. and Paul Zavacky Sr.

Surviving are her loving husband of 50 years, Frank T. March; two brothers, John Zavacky of West Mifflin, Pennsylvania and Lewis Zavacky of St. Clairsville; a sister, Helen Torok of Blacklick, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville, with a vigil service to be held at 6:30 p.m. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard, with Fr. Thomas Graven and Fr. Virgil Reischman the co-celebrants. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, St. Clairsville.
