Mary Ada Kinzy Kaptein, 94, of Dublin, Ohio, died July 25, 2021, at her home.

She was born February 10, 1927, in Farmington, Ohio, a daughter of the late Forrest Chatham Kinzy and Ada Myrtle Dennis Kinzy.

Mary was a retired operator from Ohio Bell and a Presbyterian by faith.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Edmond Kaptein; a sister, Valta Giffin; and three brothers, Herbert, Ralph, and Lowell Kinzy.

Mary is survived by her son, Edmond Forrest Kaptein of Dublin, Ohio; a sister, Ann (Charles) Couch of Sandusky, Ohio; a brother, Harold (Emma) Kinzy of Berea, Ohio; several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend a committal service on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Holly Memorial Gardens Chapel in Pleasant Grove, Ohio.  Arrangements are entrusted to Toothman Funeral Home in St. Clairsville.
